The Sportzing Court Care annual conference was held this year at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort, Twin Waters on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The conference took place on Saturday 23rd March and was attended by 17 participants.
The delegates stayed two nights at the Novotel which is set amongst 36 hectares of natural bushland and is situated on around a private beach lined lagoon.
Our lodgings were well appointed resort rooms, some of us lucky enough to have lagoon views, set in beautiful surrounds. A beautiful pool and water sports were available for those who arrived earlier on the Friday and were able to enjoy the beautiful Novotel Resort.
The conference kicked off with a waterside evening picnic including fresh prawns freshly caught off the Mooloolaba Wharf, and finished with a few nightcaps in the Aqua Lounge.
Our annual conference hosted by Company Director Alan Dean took place on Saturday 23rd March on a beautiful Sunshine Coast day. The conference started at 8am and began with an arrival Breakfast on a private deck in the Maroochy Room.
During the day, all Delegates were provided the opportunity to impart valuable knowledge on their particular areas of expertise, which is greatly valued by us all to learn tricks of the trade and proven techniques.
We were also fortunate to be joined by special guest Toni De Clase from Tiger Turf who flew in from Melbourne to present to us on the Tiger Turf artificial grass techniques of manufacture.

Throughout the day the team enjoyed many delicious meals provided by the renowned Novotel Resort including morning and afternoon teas of fresh bakery items and local fruits, and a gourmet lunch of Chef’s selected assorted wraps.
In the evening a private function was hosted in the Maroochy Room where all delegates and partners in attendance enjoyed a succulent two course meal with plenty of wine and beverages enjoyed by all. The night owls continued onto the Aqua Bar after the event to see the night out.

Sadly Brett & Janelle Prouatt our long standing Territory Managers of Brisbane Westside were unable to attend due to a monumental wedding anniversary that was celebrated with many family members.
The Sunday morning saw everyone a little worse for wear, but all regathered for a last meal together in the Nouveau Restaurants for the well-known and very popular Novotel Sunday Banquet before heading off to airports or driving home.
A vote was taken for the 2020 Conference during the conference and the Novotel Twin Waters, which is currently undergoing extensive renovations, was well favoured for our next year’s conference.
